Imagine if you currently live in a home built in 1959. What maintenance do you suppose would need to be done to your fixer-upper? Perhaps some roof repair? Updated insulation and electric? Floors needing attention?
Our beloved home, Camp Wakonda - established in 1959 - is ready for some repairing and refurbishing. In order to continue its legacy for future generations, we're launching this capital campaign.

About the Campaign:
The call of this project is for all of us who have enjoyed the shalom and sanctuary of Wakonda to pass it on to future generations.
As the community of Camp Wakonda, we value Seeking Wonder, Peacemaking, developing a Community of Care, Growing Faith in those who come to camp, and being Grounded in Simplicity.
It is these things that we hope to pass on to our children and grandchildren, as well as the many brothers & sisters in Christ whom they will meet at camp.
We are seeking to raise $999,000 to complete a variety of projects (check out the Capital Projects link below!) that will ensure that Wakonda continues to serve children, youth, and adults for years to come!
