Creating a SAFE experience of God in nature is our first priority. As such, we will be taking steps to keep campers, staff, and guests safe and healthy. In 2023, Camp Wakonda will be operating with the following procedures:
Please contact Pastor Ben George (bgeorge@cantoncpc.org or 330-735-2740) if you have questions about any of these procedures.
*These procedures were updated on 1/14/2023.
Please contact us (info@wakondacamp.org or 330-735-2740) if you have questions about any of these procedures.
- We strongly encourage all campers, guests, and staff to stay up-to-date on all vaccinations.
- Please check in with your camper daily about how they feel for the two weeks leading up to their camp event. If your camper is ill directly before coming to camp, PLEASE STAY HOME!
- While we will not be requiring mask-wearing in general, campers are welcome to wear a mask for any camp activities.
- As always, we encourage all campers, guests, and staff to maintain sanitary practices, especially regular handwashing.
- Our maintenance staff will continue its excellent practices in keeping our facilities clean and safe.
- As we learn more, additional procedures may be added or changed.
